Five years after a fire ripped through Seika Dormitory in 2007, the lives of Chinese and Taiwanese students have remained largely untouched.
In 2012m two photographers and a videomaker: Belgium-based Suspiciousminds, Japan’s TomBoy and France’s Kitsuney visited the site and captured stunning imagery.
Yukino Ohmura uses thousands of bright dot stickers to create these astounding night cityscapes. It is an illusion that disappears when you walk up to the panels.
Yukino says:
Illusion turns out to be truth by keeping a distance from it, and truth may turn out to be illusion too. We are trying to struggle in this world which is filled with uncertain and unstable truths. My artworks are part of the truths cut out from this chaotic world.

Every day, millions of people check in on Foursquare. We took a year's worth of check-ins in New York City and Tokyo and plotted them on a map. Each dot represents a single check-in, while the straight lines link sequential check-ins. What you can see here represents the power of check-in data -- on Foursquare, every city around the world pulses with activity around places every hour of every day. Each dot represents a check-in during this 96 hour period. Super fascinating to see the different types of check-ins ripple across the city as time of day effects the rhythm of all of these individuals in a fairly regular pattern.
